This benefits them because it is free content for their newsletter and it benefits you because it is an effective form of viral marketing which produces hundreds of back links to your website and targeted traffic as well.
Affiliate Programs – Start your own affiliate program. Your goal here is to build up a network of people (affiliates) to go out and promote your site. This benefits both you and the affiliate because you don’t pay them until you make a sale. You are only giving them a percentage of each sale, so you still profit on every sale they make. Imagine if you have hundreds of affiliates out there promoting for you.
Direct Mailing – This is an effective way to get the word out on your business, although it can get a bit costly depending on how many pieces you are sending out. However, it is a tangible form of advertising where people can “hold on” to it and refer to it later if they are not ready to do business with you just yet. When you create your mail piece, be sure to include a catchy headline to grab their attention fast. Outline the benefits in the beginning (not the features). Make it so they will want to read on. Also, try to keep it as short and simple as possible. Too much to read can be distracting and will most likely lose your prospect’s attention.
